Thirstystone Sandstone Coasters are among the finest in the world, due to their incredible absorbing ability. The unusual nature of the porous sandstone literally absorbs messy drips from beverages without leaking onto furniture. They also do not lose their ability to absorb over time. The Coasters come in a set of 4, with each one being 4" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Each has a cork back so as not to scratch surfaces. These coasters have a high resolution printed color image on the surface that does not hinder the absorbent qualities of the natural sandstone.

Well, I just received these and was very exited until I opened the box. Maybe I am just naive but they were not what is described in the item description. It is a very cheap image printed on a plain stone, which would be fine if they told you but this is not what you are led to believe in the description. They look very cheap! It is funny how they even tell you that there might be some differences between the individual coasters because they come from a natural stone...please, give me a break!!! I will be exchanging them with the natural ones that hopefully won't have an image printed on them and won't look this cheap!!!Hopefully they work as good as it is described!!!

Arrived quickly and safely. The Thirstystone works as advertised, they really absorb condensation from glasses, cups, etc. There is no variation in the four stones, however...you get four with exactly the same pattern on each. It's an interesting and colorful pattern, but I was hoping for a little more variation between them. I paired them with the dark cherry pedestal holder and it looks very nice.

I purchased these coasters and the cherry stand for a gift for a man. It will be used with his new bar. No worries. These are so absorbant. No ring on your furniture, they absorb that well. The stone pic is very nice. Same as pictured.
