These coasters are heavy and durable! Even when your drink is sweating into a puddle, your glass won't stick to the coaster. That was one issue we'd had with our other coasters. We'd pick up our cups and the whole bottom of the coaster would be stuck to the glass- then fall hard right into our oak coffee table, or end table. I was always afraid they'd dent the wood or chip some of the wood off at one point. I don't have to worry with these coasters. I love them, and will be purchasing another set of them.The only flaw, and it's not even really worth complaining about, is the picture online looks like it's got a shadow behind the leaf like the leaf is raised up. After receiving them. these just look like one solid dimention. Again, not worth complaining about but it's better I tell you than you find out on your own after you purchase it, if you're expecting that.These coasters are beautiful, and look perfect with our freshly painted sage livingroom!
