Thirstystone Sandstone Coasters are among the finest in the world, due to their incredible absorbing ability. The unusual nature of the porous sandstone literally absorbs messy drips from beverages without leaking onto furniture. They also do not lose their ability to absorb over time. The Coasters come in a set of 4, with each one being 4" in diameter and 3/8" thick. Each has a cork back so as not to scratch surfaces.

The coasters are effective and look nice. But as others mentioned mine showed up chip. They were minor and both were on the bottom side (you can't see them).I would recommend this item.

No shortage of price here,,,but these are nice, heavy stone coasters. They work like magic,,,,the stones soak up the drops of water like sand. Be careful on wood tables... the pad on the bottom is only in the center , which is fine,,,but the edges of the stones are not rounded off , and may scratch tables. I've been careful, but, so far so good.

These are really beautiful and because they are Thirstystone they WORK! However, one was broken when they arrived because the sandstone is so fragile. I still love them as the colors and motif are great. I only own Thirstystone coasters because they seem to be the ONLY ones that work, but sandstone I will purchase in a store and not deal with shipping.
