I will never buy a different type of coaster again. The stone soaks up all access water, and is padded so it doesnt scratch the table top. Superior product!

I bought these because of the problems with condensation I experienced with your typical pressboard/whatever coaster. It absorbs water almost as well as advertised. Unfortunately, as heavy as they are, they will still occasionally stick to the bottom of a wet glass. I dropped one once because of this and chipped it. They are colorful, and work better than any other coaster I've used, but they are not perfect and they are not cheap.
